Anethum pills are scientifically formulated from the seeds and leaves of Anethum graveolens L. (Dill), roots and flowers of ‎Cichorium intybusL. (Chicory, Radicchio-known as an ancient herb), leaves of Fumaria parvifloraL. (Araka, Pitpapra) And ‎Citrus aurantifoliaL.(Lime-Bitter orange)‎

The benefits of Anethum include lowering lipid and sugar levels, and it has been ‎reported to reduce the incidence of diabetic ‎complications by reducing ‎Cholesterol and triglyceride in the bloodstream.‎

Anethum has many significant effects on the body. It enhances antioxidant ‎effectiveness in the body by supporting the genes in ‎glucose and lipid pathways.‎
The compounds of Anethum increase biliary excretions. ‎Things you must do

  • Because of the probability of photo dermatitis, do not expose the drug to ‎sunlight for a long time while using it.‎

 
‎Things you ‎must not do ‎

  • ‎Taking Anethum with diuretic drugs which hold Potassium should be ‎done under physician’s supervision since Anethum ‎graveolens L. The ‎extract is rich in potassium.‎
  • Concurrent use of Anethum and Methoxypsoralen (photochemotherapy ‎of ‎psoriasis) is strictly forbidden.‎

 
‎Things to be careful of

  • ‎Concurrent use of Anethum and vitamin A supplements should be done ‎‎under doctor’s supervision since Anethum ‎includes Anethum graveolens ‎L. ‎Extract which is rich in beta-carotene (vitamin A precursor).‎
  • Keep it out of children reach.‎

 
•    Side effects

  • Overdosing may cause a vaginal spotting/bleeding in women
  • Dermatological allergies and photo dermatitis‎
  • Taking herbal supplements may decrease the effectiveness of other drugs you are taking or may increase the adverse ‎side effects.
  • Yellow skin especially in palm .and soles ‎

Dermatological allergies and photo dermatitis, secretion of blood from a woman's vagina and ‎yellowing of skin color (especially ‎palms and soles) have been ‎reported due to long-term ‎use or taking more than the recommended dose.‎
