EASY FLOW
 •    Ingredients and active components
Made from extract of Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens L.) fruit. 
Each tablet contains 115 mg standardized dry extract of Saw Plametto (Serenoa repens) fruit.
Active ingredients include: free Fatty Acids, Flavonoids, Sterols (Beta-sitosterol and Beta-sitosterol-3-O-Glucosides).
 
•    What Easy Flow is used for 
Treats urinary problems caused by benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) including urinary frequency, dysuria, and painful urination.

•    How Easy Flow works 
According to human studies, the mechanism of action of Serenoa repens in the treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) may have multiple sites of action and involves anti-androgenic and anti-inflammatory effects. Serenoa repens has historically been used to treat prostate enlargement and chronic cystitis, also as a mild diuretic.
Anti-androgenic Effect: The lipophilic extract of the herb inhibits binding of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to cytosolic androgenic receptors and alpha 1-adreonceptor in the prostate, thus preventing accumulation of the steroid, which may lead to prostate hyperplasia. Anti-androgenic effects of the lipophilic extract also includes 5-alpha-reuctase and 3-ketosteroid reductase inhibition. These enzymes are responsible for the conversion of testosterone to DHT and for conversion of DHT to an androgen compound, respectively.
Anti-inflammatory Effects: The hexane extract of the herb have demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity. Inhibition of the synthesis of arachidonic acid inflammatory metabolites, through a double blocking of cyclooxygenase and 5-lipoxygenase pathway, results in anti-inflammatory properties. The drug also contains antispasmodic properties by inhibiting calcium influx and activation of sodium/calcium ion exchanger. Induction of protein synthesis plays a role in the antispasmodic effects with cyclic AMP as a possible mediator. Extracts of the drug may also antagonize the contracting effect of acetylcholine on the bladder.
 
•    Before you use Easy Flow
Use during Pregnancy and Lactation
The use of Serenoa repens during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended due to its potential hormonal effects.

•    Taking Easy Flow
‎How and when to ‎take it 
Take 2 tablets 3 times a day. For best results, take them after a meal with water or fruit juice.
‎ How long to take it 
In case of any physician recommendation, continue taking it until the visible symptoms have improved.
‎What to do if you miss a dose 
If you miss a dose of Easy Flow, try to take it as soon as remember if it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses of it at the same time.
 
•    While you are taking Easy Flow
‎Things you must do‎ 

• Consult a physician before taking this drug, if it is used concurrently with other medication to treat BPH.
• Before taking this medication, make sure that you do not have prostate cancer, as the usage of this drug may mask cancer symptoms.
• This drug should be used only in men over 18 years old.

‎Things to be careful of‎ 

• Patients with a history of hormone-related cancers should consult with their physician before taking this drug.
• The use of this drug on an empty stomach may cause nausea and abdominal problems.    

•    Side effects 
This drug has no specific side effects.

‎Storage 

• Store in a dry place, keep away from direct sunlight and below 25 °C.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.

‎Disposal 
Do not put into sewer lines. Dispose in the everyday rubbish bin.‎
