PHYTORELAX
• Ingredients and active components
Phytorelax tablet is made from extract of St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) flower.
Each Phytorelax tablet contains 300 mg of a standardized dried extract of St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) flower.
The active ingredients are: hypericin flavonoids such as hyperoside, and volatile oil.

Sedative, anxiolytic and antidepressant.
• How PHYTORELAX works
Hypericum perforatum extract has numerous therapeutic effects that have been proved in various clinical studies. The antidepressant effects of this plant are due to its hyperforin compounds, which inhibit serotonin receptors, particulary 5-HT (1D) and 5-HT (2C). In addition, it reduces corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and the release of interleukin 6.
Anxiolytic effects: The compounds in this plant activate benzodiazepine receptors.
• Before you use PHYTORELAX
When NOT to take it
- Should not be used in children under 6 years old.
- Should not be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding
- Individuals with photosensitivity should avoid using this drug. If used, they should avoid exposure to UV radiation.
- Due to its sedative effects, avoid using this drug while driving or when working with devices that need focus.
- This product is not recommended for individuals that are allergic to Hypericum perforatum.
Use during Pregnancy and Lactation
Should NOT be used during pregnancy and lactation.
• Taking PHYTORELAX
How and when to take it
To be taken 3 times daily with meals.
How long to take it
In case of any physician recommendation, continue taking it until the visible symptoms have improved.
What to do if you miss a dose
If you miss a dose of Phytorelax, try to take it as soon as remember if it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses of it at the same time.
• While you are taking PHYTORELAX
Things you must do
- Consult a physician for simultaneous use other drugs with Phytorelax, such as oral contraceptives, HIV-1 protease inhibitors, immune system inhibitors, anticoagulants, digoxin, theophylline, serotonergic antidepressants, anti-migraine drugs, SSRIs, and anticonvulsants.
• Side effects
This drug has no mentionable adverse effect. However, there are a few reports of allergic reactions.
• After taking it
Storage
- Store in a dry place, keep away from direct sunlight and below 25 °C.
- Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Disposal
Do not put into sewer lines. Dispose in the everyday rubbish bin.
