•    How ZINTIGO works
Anti-nausea and vomiting effect of ginger has been attributed to the Gingerols and Shogaols present in its rhizome. In comparison to most anti-emetic drugs which affect the Central Nervous System (CNS), it is assumed that the anti-emetic effects of ginger is due to its effect on the digestive system. The various oil-soluble constituents of ginger affect Serotonin Receptors and generate its anti-nausea and vomiting, and spasmolytic effect on the vessels of smooth muscles. The active constituents in ginger increase the flow of saliva, bile and gastric juice and prevent stomach contractions.
